Achieve Financial Freedom E-Business Success. Simple. Real.
In 2005, I began the process of building an e-business. In 2007, I started to witness a transformation: e-business success. Writing on average 2 pages a week, I couldn't see where all those writing would add up. 3 years later, with over 120 pages, and still writing, I could now see it all make sense: E-BUSINESS success is SIMPLE and REAL. The steps that are explained below do NOT originate from me. But the building of this site originates from me. They mirror the steps to e-business success below. I hope you will find this is but one of most useful sites to guide you in your e-business venture. E-Business Success No. 1 - Money-Making System
If you haven’t read Robert Kiyosaki’s “Rich Dad; Poor Dad” , I recommend you do so. Robert explains that if you ever want to realise your dream of creating wealth, you need to
“own a system of making money”
rather than be an employee or self-employed individual. Since most ordinary folks do not have huge capital to invest, owning an e-business system of making money proves the only viable alternative. A system will initially demand much of your time, attention and commitment. But once a system is in place, less demand on your time becomes the norm. The system becomes a wealth-builder for you. So your first step to achieve financial freedom is to develop and own a reliable e-business, money-making system. Towards the end of this page, I shall share with you what I am using, and also some updates on recent developments on the choices available to you. that you possess and turn it into your Brand of One online. How.........? Here’s an example........ Nori, a 17-year old girl travels to Anguilla Island with her family every year. Now Anguilla is a lesser known among the Caribbean islands. This girl is so passionate about Anguilla. What did she do.........? She converted her little “island of knowledge” about Anguilla and build her Brand of One online! She attracted more visitors compared to most of other bigger sites. At her age - she was 14 when she built her site , she was able to turn her website into a profitable income generating source in two and a half years! Why........you can convert your little island of expertise and pre-sell your personal voice of true experience. Your second step to e-business success is to turn your knowledge into content that WOW visitors. E-Business Success No. 3 - PreSell; Don't Sell
What do most sales people do with their knowledge? They take it to Sell! And it’s written all over their faces the moment they approach you. Unless you are a renowned brand, you and I won’t entertain a salesman you hardly know and purchase from him. You would want to buy from people you know whom you have a level of trust in. There are about 433 million sites on the internet. Of these, 95% are literally hibernating in cyberspace enjoying little or no business. Why…..? People don’t know they exist! And if they are found to exist, visitors turn away because these sites merely display their products and services to sell. There is nothing wrong with selling; visitors love buying. The problem is visitors aren’t looking for something to buy. They are searching for information! And only information that builds trust and that makes them feel you have more than delivered what they are seeking out for is the way to establishing ‘warm, open to buy‘ attitude. This is called "Preselling". Preselling breeds trust, credibility and confidence. You do this by providing quality content. Content that injects the feeling of one who has ‘been there........done that’ experience. Until you pre-sell to build relationship, there is no reason for you to sell anything. There is, in fact, hardly any need for selling. Pre-selling converts visitors into customers........into responding to your ‘most wanted response‘ - buying your products and/or services. In Preselling, you share your island of knowledge about your experience truthfully with your visitors. The sharing naturally translates into a response by the visitor to learn about how she can acquire the same experience or result as you. Then you share about the benefits of your products or services. Your third step to e-business success is write simply with purpose and sincerity. E-Business Success No. 4 - Build & Deepen Relationship
Relationship begets wealth. This has never changed since the beginning of commerce. People who have achieved incredible wealth owe their success to the relationship they have with those who trust enough to support their ideas. How do you build relationship online........? People don’t see your face....... By providing content that expresses your personal voice. Content that over-delivers. Nori instills trust by her personal voice. She won over her visitors for precisely that. We all warm up to people who convey a level of sincerity, warm and authenticity. But don’t stop there. Continue providing content via your e-zine. Give freely. Why do this.......? To build and deepen relationship takes time. To earn the trust of your visitors online also takes time. Visitors who feel you have more than delivered will sooner or later act upon your recommendations. After all, if they were searching for information, they were also searching for the right recommendations! Your fourth step to e-business success is to earn the trust of your readers by giving more than they expect. E-Business Success No. 5 - You Are Not Your Monetization Model
This idea opens up avenues to building financial wellness through multiple streams of income. You are not your monetization model is best understood by understanding your role as a content provider. As a content provider, you can diversify into many monetization models that relate and blend well with your content. Thus, you are never stuck with one model of income. Allow me to explain....... Let’s say you are an exceptional mother who has much to share about handling infants and kids. You convert your island of knowledge about handling kids into your Brand of One online. You share about the best tips to get infant to stop crying. You share about the secrets to motivating your kids to study. You share about ideas of rewarding your kids without burning a hole in your pocket. How then do you monetize? How do you create multiple incomes out of it? Do you import and sell diapers and children toys....... Of course not! You are not Toysrus. You are a content provider, not a monetization model. As a content provider, you share freely about your knowledge about kids. And you monetize by using your content to Pre-sell a host of income generating sources such as
"Adsense", "referrer Fees", "affiliate income", "e-books" and many more.
Your last step to e-business success is to diversify into several income streams that are relevant to your site concept. E-Business Success - The SBI System
Finally, we come to the system. How would you find out if there is reasonable interest among online surfers for the little ‘island of knowledge’ that you publish online? If there is little or no demand for your area of interest, there is no point publishing such content in the first place.
