How To Make A Website With SBI's Site Builder

SBI makes learning how to make a website a breeze. By using a suite of tools, you create web page after web page.

You make your own website with ‘Blockbuilder’. ‘Blockbuilder’ also called website builder, is SBI’s website building tool that lets you create web page by dividing your page into blocks.

Below is an example of a block - a text block. I insert a text block ‘by using the ‘Insert’ on the right to choose ‘text’. I can then type my text within this block.

All my web pages - text, text links, graphics, line dividers (spacing), forms - are built by ‘Inserting” the appropriate block.



I have displayed Blockbuilder’s interface below in snapshots as it appear from top to bottom . The text block above is NOT the first thing you see at the top of the Blockbuilder. It is NOT the first step in the process to create web page. Page set up is what you do first on the site builder to create web page.



SBI site builder provides step-by-doable-step instructions to make your own website. As you can see I created my web page, ‘Passion Into Profit’ by first inputting my page set up.



Each time you create web page, you start with ‘Page Info‘ & ‘ Page Options‘. You don’t even begin to write yet until you complete page set up. Instructions, displayed at every point along the Blockbuilder, show you how to make a website that will attract organic search engine traffic.



You begin to write your text after inputting your headlines and/or sub-headlines. Again you use ‘Insert” headlines .



You can use several text blocks to separate your paragraphs. You can also use a single text block to input all your paragraphs.

As I do display graphics on my pages, Adsense Ads, and for ease of editing my page from time to time, I prefer to separate my article into blocks.



How do I insert images as well as link those images?

I use the graphic block. Graphic block makes it easy to align my image or allow text to wrap round the image.

‘Text Link’ block lets me link any text or line of text to another webpage on my site or to an external site.

’Text Link’ block is useful where I have affiliate sites to link to. Affiliate sites are a source of my income.



How do I invite subscribers to my e-zine subscription?

I use the Opt-In E-zine block. And I assign it at the bottom of wellnessway ezine page.



In addition, I also use another SBI tool for creating and sending newsletter. There is no need for me to spend on e-newsletter mailing to my subscribers. It’s all included in SBI integrated set of tools.

At any stage of using the Blockbuilder, I can straddle between preview and Blockbuilder to make changes if necessary. Then I let “Analyse It’ take over.

‘Analyse It ‘ analyses my page within seconds and lets me know if every element on my page meets search engine criteria for search engine submission and ranking.

Where ‘Analyse It’ approves my page, I click ‘Build It’, the final completion step on how to make a website with Blockbuilder.

With ‘Build It’, SBI does the rest to submit my page to all the major search engines.
